Kitty Boone is a 15-year-old girl with Asperger syndrome who lives with her Father Ed in Swindon, after her mother had died two years ago. Kitty has never gone further than the end of her road on her own, but when she discovers the dead body of the neighbour’s dog, Wellington, she sets out on a terrifying journey which turns her whole world upside down.
